Attendance at this year’s Bloom from 2nd to 6th June broke all records, well ahead of the 120,000 recorded in 2019. And quite a few, it seems, made it to our stand to try both our 3 SQ. MILES gin and our cask-aged gin. Our fabulous team were busy throughout with some items sold out completely. The Irish gin drinking public, are it seems more than ready to embrace the distinctive ocean fresh and sweet taste of our Irish Coastal Gin with its hint of saltiness. Our cask-aged gin also proved to be a winner, a distinctive warm winter gin to look forward too after the summer.
We commissioned two specially engraved bottles for both events and are delighted to announce the winner of the Bloom Bottle as Grace (for the Bloom bottle) and Danny (Whiskey Live). A big thank you to everyone on our cheerful and hardworking team, Chris, Corentin, Malachy, Séamus, Niamh, Sarah, Sam and Lindley.
As you can see, we had a special guest at the stand on Friday, Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
The Whiskey Live event was organised by Celtic Whiskey and was held in the RDS on Friday and Saturday 10th and 11th of June. Attendance was about 800 at each of 3 separate events but of course all of these were whiskey and spirits enthusiasts. It was a great opportunity to showcase our distillery to this discerning group many of whom were especially impressed by and interested in our cask-aged gin. We were delighted to offer an engraved bottle to Ally Alpine, the chief organizer and congratulate Danny, who won the second bottle on offer. Again, go raibh mile maith agaibh to our team of Séamus, Malachy and Fionn.
